For Esme, with Love & Squalor by J.D. Salinger. 1959 first Ace Edition, 188 pages. Known as Nine Stories in the States, features classics such as "A Perfect Day for Bananafish" and title story. Later in 1959 Salinger started demanding that his covers not be illustrated.
