The Confessions of Lady Nijo, translated by Karen Brazell. 1973, Stanford University Press, later printing. Wear to cover and spine, with bruising on back cover, book in good condition. This memoir was written in 1307 and discovered in the 1940s and is filled with one woman's affairs and lovers.
